It’s our desire that you feel welcome at FBC Northville, so here are answers to some of the questions you may have!
What do you believe?
Great question! Please CLICK HERE to look over our Statement of Faith. It will give you a summary of our core beliefs.
When and where do you meet?
Our Sunday Morning Worship service is at 10:45 AM.
What is the music like?
The music at FBN is a blend of modern worship songs and choruses with a few hymns included. Our worship team leads us as we enter into worshiping God with our voices. We also have a choir and special music all to encourage and lift our hearts in worship to God through music.
Which version of the Bible do you use?
Our pastor preaches from the New King James Version and the English Standard Version, but we encourage visitors to bring whatever version they are comfortable using and enjoy hearing from the Word of God as we worship together.
Where’s the entrance?
There are two main entrances to the church and you’re welcome to use either on High St. or Wing St. The entrance on High St. is connected to our parking lot. Come right on in to our main church lobby where you will be met by greeters and ushers who will ensure you get to where you need to. Visitors can also enjoy the visitor parking area marked by signs near the church door entrance.
Where should I sit?
You can sit wherever you feel comfortable in our Auditorium, from the front row to the back row. If you have difficulty locating a seat, our ushers are available to assist you.
What should I wear?
You can wear whatever you would like! Many people dress casually, some may wear a sports coat. At FBN everyone dresses comfortably, so wear whatever you would like.
What happens during the church service?
Each week is different, but some common elements include the following:
Uplifting worship with a great band.
A message that is biblical, practical, and relevant.
How long does the service last?
The service will end by noon.
Are children welcome in the service?
Absolutely! However, we also have what we call “Children’s Church” Led by some great ladies who pour into our kids with the Word of God, crafts, and fun little activities each week.
I used to go to FBC Northville “Back in the day” is it still the same?
Short answer: No…and yes. Time has passed and people and things change but we make sure that our goal of loving God, loving others, and making disciples fuels us in the things that we do. Whether this is your first time or first in a long time we are excited to have you!
Anything else I should know?
We serve refreshments after our service, so come and have a great worship experience and then enjoy a cup of coffee or tea, a bit of a snack. Visit the Welcome table for more information or get to know us!
We are glad you stopped by and we hope to see you on Sunday!
Sincerely,
First Baptist Church of Northville
